Łódź (city park called Park Promienistych) - Park Szarych Szeregów ( Grey Ranks Park)- Pomnik Martyrologii Dzieci (Monument of the Children Martyrdom)- Rondo Powstańców 1863 r. ( Roundabout of Uprising Insurgents of 1863)- Park Adama Mickiewicza (Adam Mickiewicz City Park) - Radogoszcz Muzeum (Radogoszcz Museum)- ul. Liściasta - Las Chełmy (Chełmy Wood)- Zgierz - Smardzew - Szczawin - Rosanów - Las Lućmierski (Lućmierski Wood)
Route is called ‘Szlak Pamięci Ofiar Hitlerowskiego Ludobójstwa’ ( route devoted to the memory of the Polish people killed by the Nazis) also called ‘Szlak Martyrologii’(Martyrdom Route). Following the route around the Łódź you can see the most important places of executions of Polish people during the World War II. The route shows not only places in Łódź but also in the surrounding towns and places including Zgierz and Las Lućmierski (Lućmierski Wood).
During walking along the route you can observe the following objects: Pomnik Martyrologii Dzieci (Monument of the Children Martyrdom) in Park Promienistych (city park named Park Promienistych), Mauzoleum in Radogoszcz (Mausoleum in Radogoszcz), monuments in Okręglik, Zgierz and Lućmierz. |
